Capsule:

The Dark Cloud appears as that of a Tempestro, an alien race, which comes from the planet, now named Koda’s World.  The characters of Daurek, Ledala, Santhou, and the outlaw Rala unwittingly released the creature which had been entrapped by the Tempestro thousands of years ago.  The Dark Cloud was able to manifest itself in a corporeal form and granted the characters “gifts” one of which was an attachment to this realm, which came in the form of Force Powers to Daurek.  If Daurek had died, the Cloud would have vanished.

The Cloud had one task to complete to become whole.  Firstly, he must absorb the life energy of 3 dark siders, and lastly, to regain what he had given to Daurek.

Whilst waiting for the opportune time, the Cloud allied with a race of parasitic force “demons” that lived within the confines of a large gas nebula.  When Black Ice arrived in the Nebula, the Cloud along with its newfound companions felt that they could enjoy the fruits of their existence.  After a huge battle, the Force Demons took over the Rebels who were living on the ship.

When the Imperials arrived, the Force Demons had begun their harvest and had established colonies on Black Ice.  The Imperials only brought with them new life to be consumed.
