"Luckily for you, the New Republic High Council has given me clearance to tell you the story of two groups of unlikely heroes, namely Thermal Force, and Dragon Squadron. The two were very different. One was a mission group, and the other was a fighter squadron.

"To say the least, they were not the "Heroes of Yavin", but they sure had their fair share of adventure. And I should know - I was there once or twice. In fact, I used to be the backbone of the operation for Thermal Force - me being a slicer and all, but I'm sure they will tell you differently.

I could give you a snappy appraisal of their exploits, but that would hardly do their adventures justice.  So sit back, and let me tell you a tale or two.  As I cast my mind back, it seems like a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...
